Brian Heslington

Brian Heslington has been a soccer league executive member for fourty years. Hebegan with the Chinguacousy Minor Soccer Club (now known as the Brampton EastSoccer Club) in 1968. With this group, Heslington served as Field and Grounds Director,House League Director, Discipline Chairman and Registrar over the course of twentyoneyears. Heslington was also the President of the Ontario Junior Soccer Leaguefrom 1972 until 1981.

In 1978, Heslington was one of the founding members of the Peel Halton Soccer Association, ofwhich he is still an executive member. Heslington began as Director at Large, then became theDiscipline Chairman and is currently the Registrar.

Some of Heslington’s accomplishments include serving on the Computer Task Force for the OntarioSoccer Association, receiving a Distinguished Service Award from the Ontario Soccer Association,a Long Term Service 10-Year City of Brampton Citizens Awards in 1987 and representing thesoccer community on the Brampton Sports Hall of Fame Committee from 1998 to 2005.
