Jim Moss
Moss, an incredibly gifted athlete, has excelled in hockey, box lacrosse and fieldlacrosse. He was a member of Team Canada, which won the 2006 World LacrosseChampionship hosted in London, Ontario. Team Canada scored an impressive 15-10victory over the perennial powerhouse United States team, giving Canada its first worldchampionship in 28 years.
Moss, a six-foot, 210-pound defenseman, has previously served as San Jose’s captainin the National Lacrosse League (NLL). He has tallied 72 points in 81 regular seasongames. His peers selected him as Lacrosse Magazine’s Best Defender of the Year in 2005 - 2006.Moss also represented the West Division at the 2004 and 2005 NLL All-Star games.
Moss also served as the San Jose Stealth’s fan development coordinator, assisting in communityevents, camps and making charity appearances to promote the Stealth and the game of lacrosse.
Moss joined the Stanford University lacrosse coaching staff for his first season as a volunteerassistant coach.
Moss played 5 years with the Brampton Major Excelsiors Lacrosse team, and in 2002 helpedBrampton capture the Mann Cup, emblematic of lacrosse supremacy in Canada. Moss was alsovoted the outstanding defensive player of the year in the 2002 season.
