SIX NEW MEMBERS TO BE INDUCTED INTO BRAMPTON'S SPORTS HALL OF FAME

Brampton, ON: Wednesday, April 17, 2013, the City of Brampton will induct six new members into its Sports Hall of Fame in three separate categories: Athletes, Builders and Veteran.

Gillian Apps (Hockey), Ron Fellows (Race Car Driving) and Mark Janoschak (Figure Skating) will be inducted into the "Athletes" category. Peter Sjouwerman (Boxing) and Linda Skillen (Hockey) will be inducted into the "Builders" category. Bill Castator (Lacrosse) will be inducted into the "Veteran" category.

This year's ceremony takes place Wednesday, April 17 at the Rose Theatre Brampton. Cocktail Dinner Reception begins at 6 pm. Tickets go on sale for $40 on Friday March 1 and can be purchased prior to the event by contacting the Rose Theatre Box Office at 905.874.2800
